Nelle Filippine, alla fine della seconda guerra mondiale, due soldati, uno inglese, Dave, e uno americano, Bob, riescono con una spericolata azione, a distruggere la sede di un comando giapponese, smascherando anche un sosia del generale Yamato. Questi però riesce a fuggire portando con sé un cobra d'oro che, oltre ad avere un valore venale, è considerato un talismano, di forza e di potere per chi lo possiede. Ma l'aereo precipita nella giungla, il falso Yamato viene ucciso e il cobra preso e trasportato da una tribù indigena in un luogo sacro che si trova al centro di un vulcano semi-spento nel quale vive anche una giovane e bella donna bianca idolatrata dagli indigeni. L'americano Bob; paracadutato all'inseguimento del giapponese, viene ferito ma la ragazza lo salva facendolo adagiare su uno zatterino.................
